Andre Theater Collective is a nonprofit program bridging the gap between incarcerated playwrights and their audiences.

Our mission is to help people that need it most. Our method is amplifying marginalized voices through art production.

Creatives incarcerated in Dixon Correctional Center have been writing and producing plays. Andre Theater Collective exists to produce these plays outside of Dixon CC for everyone to experience. In this partnership, we are creating community between families of incarcerated playwrights, local artists, theaters, and new target audiences.

We hope to create new, innovative approaches to overcome barriers as artists.
